So I was a major slacker this week.  Josh was gone a lot and usually that means I take a lot of pictures to sent to him but since his iPhone was shattered and in the shop I didn’t have the means to do that.  So, as a result, all I have to share this week are three photos:  Josh and Maisy looking adorable as they sleep, story time with Maisy (and I’m actually in a picture!), and I did a senior portraits session that was just fantastic and comes with a great story (more on that later).

Maybe one day the majority of my “a Photo a Day” pictures won’t be of Maisy.  That day isn’t today.  This week we have Maisy smiling at me while I work, rockin’ the Moby Wrap facing forward, a view of my little gangsta from the backseat mirror, more Moby Wrap riding but this time snuggled in and sleeping, and a big morning yawn.  I did also squeeze in a senior portraits session this week and a baby session among huge quantities of wedding editing, daily mothering, and house loving (I picked paint colors, rearranged, set up a new dining table, planted blueberry and raspberry bushes…).  Yup, Josh wasn’t home so I got LOTS done!

Two Very Full Weeks in Photos!

These past couple weeks things went a little nuts.  I had my parents visiting and watching Maisy while I photographed several weddings, then Josh and I traveled to MN for some gigs where I got to see all sorts of family and friends (Maisy is a popular little girl) and photograph a gorgeous engagement session in downtown Minneapolis, we came back just in time for me to photograph another wedding in the Chicago suburbs, and finally Maisy and I tried to take it easy on Sunday (Mom bought her some black and white books and clearly she’s taken by them).

Almost a full Week in Photos!

This week Maisy hit 1 month!  So hard to believe!  She’s consumed most of my photographing for the week.  Seems to be my trend lately.  But I also photographed a wedding and saw a really cool looking sun at sunset this week!

PHOTO 3:  We smiled at each other for a long time!  Little did I know this smiling session marked the first of many more to come – my little Maisy Joy sure is a joyful little bugger!
