  1. Love your storytelling! Can feel God’s love through your words. We met your husband at a concert in Pampa, TX. He and the rest of Citizen Way made a very profound impact on my 14-year-old son, and helped him to finally understand God loves him and he is important to this world. This is how we heard about you. May God continue to bless you both. Thank you

    • Hi Christine! Thanks so much for taking the time to share that with me! It blesses my heart so much to hear about the impact my husband and the guys have on everyone they are meeting. God bless you and your family!

      • Thank you Kaia. Just wanted to tell you I’ve been lifting you and your family up in prayer since I read about your Grandmother, and will continue to do so throughout the days and weeks ahead. God has laid you on my heart, and I will contine to pray until He removes the urge. Blessings to you

  2. Hi! My name is Elyse, I’m 17, and my favorite color is orange. I’m from Louisiana, and I found out about your blog from Citizen’s Way when they came to our church, Word of Grace. I enjoyed working at the merch table. I love your storytelling because it’s so real! God bless you and your family. 🙂

  3. Hey…my favorite color is lime green and I love sunflowers too! I am a huge Van Gogh fan and I love his sunflowers the most. I enjoy helping others be creative and to find solutions to life’s little situations. I love babies!!!

    ~~More~~
I am 61 and a grammie to one granddaughter who is three. Both my daughter (Icynda Danielle) and granddaughter Autumn Gloria attend church regularly as do I. My daughter though, has her own band and leads worship at her church.
I love to crochet, mostly for babies, charity, premature babies in NICU and bereavement outfits.
Thank you for having your blog. I enjoy ready it and seeing what is new with Maisy and the Calhoun’s.

  5. Often, the Holy Spirit urges us to do things without any explanation and I think expressing to you the peace I received while reading a few of your blog posts is one of those nudgings.

I think we have met personally once near the beginning of my relationship with Patrick Bentz. Finding a rhythm after settling down has been refreshing and even though marriage, parenting and adult life in general often feels like a constant whirlwind, it doesn’t have to. A quiet peace filled my spirit as I read your words and scrolled through your photographs. I’m not sure why. Thank you for sharing your work.
